Welcome to Make It Toolkit, provided by MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD.

These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern your access to and use of the Make It Toolkit, including any content, functionality, products, and services offered.

1. Make It Toolkit™ Overview

The Make It Toolkit™ includes:

1) 15 Behavioral Strategies – A structured, evidence-based framework to influence decision-making and drive action.
2) Barriers & Examples – A system to identify and categorize obstacles preventing people from making optimal decisions or taking action.
3) 300+ Selected Tactics – Practical, science-backed interventions to apply behavioral strategies effectively.

4) Additional Tools & Templates, including but not limited to: 
Behavior Design Canvas – A tool to map out and refine behavioral interventions. 
- Achievement Design Canvas – A framework for designing systems that drive motivation and progress. 
- Streak Canvas – A tool to leverage habit formation and encourage consistency through streak-based design. 
- Figma Board  – A tool for collaborative work.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

The Make It Toolkit™ and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD. Users are granted the right to use publicly available materials from www.makeit.tools for personal and educational purposes under the following terms: 

Attribution – You must give appropriate credit: The Make It Toolkit™ by Make It Lab – Licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivative (CC BY-NC-ND) International License.

‍Non-Commercial Use – You may use the materials internally within your organization but not for external commercial purposes.

No Derivatives – If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

External Use (Client Work): External use for client projects (e.g., consulting, product design, research) is allowed only if: The user has completed Level 1 Certification AND Has obtained written permission from MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD. Individuals who have completed Level 1 Certification and obtained written permission may: 1) Use the Make It Toolkit methodology in client projects (e.g., consulting, product design, user research). 2) Apply the strategies and tactics from the toolkit in their professional work. 3) Reference the toolkit in deliverables, provided proper attribution is given. However, they CANNOT: 1) Market or sell “Make It Toolkit Training Programs” or workshops under the Make It Toolkit brand. 2) Use Make It Toolkit branding in their promotional materials or claim official endorsement. 3) Advertise themselves as Certified Trainers, Facilitators or Consultants of Make It Lab. Modify, distribute, or resell Make It Toolkit materials. 

Only individuals who have obtained official certification from MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD. may: 

1) Market and sell “Make It Toolkit Training Programs” and Workshops. 
2) Use the Make It Toolkit branding in promotional materials. 
3) Be affiliated with Make It Lab and listed as an official Make It Toolkit Trainer, Facilitator, and Consultant. 

Unauthorized commercial use, branding, or misrepresentation of affiliation is strictly prohibited.

3. Limitation of Liability
MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Make It Toolkit.

4. Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes arising under these ToS will be resolved through arbitration or mediation, as determined by MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD.

5. Governing Law: These ToS shall be governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

6. Amendments to Terms of Service

MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD. reserves the right to amend these ToS at any time, with updates becoming effective upon posting. 

‍7. Make It Starter Program: 

The following Terms of Service are entered into by and between You ("User" or "You") and MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD. ("Company", "we", or "us"). These Terms of Service govern your participation in the Make It Starter Program ("Program").

Access to Program: Upon payment, Users will be granted access to the Program and all associated materials from the date of their enrollment for one (1) year. 
Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the Program, the User will be awarded the Level 1 Make It Toolkit Certification. However, obtaining Level 1 Certification alone does not grant automatic permission to use the toolkit for external client work.
External Use for Client Work: Users who complete Level 1 Certification must obtain written permission from MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD. before using the Make It Toolkit in client work. Approval is based on: 
1) Ethical usage – Ensuring responsible application aligned with behavioral science best practices. 2) Quality control – Maintaining high standards in implementation and execution.

Users who have not obtained explicit approval are not permitted to use the toolkit for client work or any external engagements.

8. Make It Box
The Make It Box is available for purchase through MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD’s designated channels. Purchasers must comply with the following terms: 
Permitted Use: Certified Facilitators and Consultants may use the materials for commercial purposes as part of consulting, training services, or other for-profit activities.
Non-Certified Purchasers may only use the materials for non-commercial internal training within their organization. 
Restrictions on Use: Non-certified users cannot use the Make It Box for paid client work without explicit permission.Editing, modifying, copying, reproducing, or distributing the Make It Box contents is strictly prohibited. Materials cannot be used to create derivative works or repackaged as original content.
Acknowledgment Requirement: All users must attribute the materials properly:
“This material is derived from the Make It Toolkit, developed by Massimo Ingegno and owned by MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD.” Unauthorized use may lead to legal action to protect the intellectual property rights of MAKEIT LAB PTE. LTD.
